Product rangeFrom the very beginning, KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE developed, produced and marketed mainly waterproofing systems but also other construction chemicals. Our current product range comprises more than 120 individual products and is therefore very wide and deep within its segment. In order to be always a step ahead, we continually develop new products and introduce them to the market. KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE products can be applied to almost any waterproofing problem encountered, for repair of existing buildings as well as for protecting new structures. Our current product range comprises basement waterproofing systems from the inside or outside, complete crack injection systems, joint sealants, systems against rising moisture in walls, waterproofing for tunnels, damp barriers, concrete and mortar admixtures, restoration plasters and sealing slurries, quick-setting cements, industrial floorings, sealing membranes and facade impregnation systems.
Focus on our customersSolving waterproofing problems successfully, requires knowledge and experience. Therefore, we advise our customers on how to solve their specific problems with the highest level of security and also in regard to cost and time. The quality of the products and the quality of their applications necessarily have to match. Therefore, we continually conduct trainings and seminars for architects and applicators.

Environmental protectionKÖSTER BAUCHEMIE is committed to preserving and protecting the environment. We use state-of-the-art raw materials and production technologies in conjunction with a strong and continuous research and development. Today, this means that most of the materials are solvent free and formulated to minimise the environmental impact. These activities are in line with our commitment to our customers since not only the environment is taken into consideration but also the health of the people who work with the materials. As a member of the German Association of the chemical Industry (Verband der Chemischen Industrie) we are as well part of the world-wide initiative Responsible Care, which engages in responsible and sustainable acting of the industrie in the areas of health protection and environmental protection.
Sales and subsidiariesNow, 27 years after its foundation, KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE is represented in more than 49 countries with thousands of satisfied customers all around the world. Currently, the KÖSTER Group consists of 25 companies.
ProductionMaterials are produced in Aurich, Germany and under license or own management in five other countries. KÖSTER BAUCHEMIE is an independent enterprise with its own development and unique know-how. Always keeping our customer’s interests in the forefronts our minds also means that improved competitiveness achieved through local production is encouraged as it benefits all parties involved – especially in developing countries transportation, import duties and local competitors usually play an important role.
